My Experience: I purchased the 42MF431D 3 monhs ago. I read good reviews, I liked the picture compared to the more expensive modles next to it.

First problem right away - no sound! Called Magnavox and 1 week later had replacement speakers. They shipped right to my office, very convenient except it took 1 week.

Three months later, power light comes on but no picture. Magnavox uses small repair shops that aren't always open on weekends. I got lucky enough to be assigned one with good customer service - they will do an in-home after 5PM. Others may not be so lucky.

I may have boutght the 1 lemon that even a great company can put out from time to time. Still, never again a Magnavox product for me.
