My Experience: Two words ... extended warranty. You will need it many times over with this set. Bulbs, color wheels, light engines will all cost you and arm and a leg. Then, if you are unfortunate enough to get a warranty with The Warranty Group, you will wait months for repair without the first phone call to update progress. When it works, and I mean when, it looks great. So far, since the first of Nov 2006, my TV has run for about 20 days out of 90. The tv is prone to problems, the warranty group is not servicing the unit so I have a 61" black hole in my den.
Problems: too many to list and the extended warranty is nothing more than extended time without a TV.
