My Experience: I saw this LCD @ Bestbuy with Blueray running on it, the quality of the picture is the best I've ever seen, the HD picture is breathtaking, I was able to get this set for $1699.00 at Bestbuy because of the 60 day price Comparison they have, It was originally $1999 and then on line it showed up for $1799 on Bestbuys website and then $1699 again on there website so that's why I rated 'Value for money" excellent but for the original price I paid @ $1999 I still think is fair considering the incredible picture this TV puts out, I have had no problems with this set
