My Experience: Paid a premium for Sony quality which has become nothing more than a myth. Sony support is equally abyssmal after warranty. $2.5k for a 52" Bravia that lasted only 4 years !
Problems: Vertical lines on display. Even though Sony is familiar with the symptoms, they wont tell you if it's a display card problem or the LCD screen itself. Sears charges $100 for a service call before even diagnosing a problem or discussion of repair cost ! Avoid Sony products ! While they were top of the line years ago, they are now junk.
