My Experience: had the TV for 3 years and have gone thru 4 bulbs. every 10 to 14 months it's time to replace and the set is down for 7 to 10 days. if i had known i would spend this kind of money that only works 51 weeks of the year. all sony had to say was that can happen!!!! the toshibi i had for 8 years never had an issue. this will be my last sony.
