My Experience: This TV came with a 90 labor and one year parts Warranty. The TV was OK for ONE YEAR.

After ONE YEAR and ONE WEEK (7 DAYS BEYOND THE WARRANTY) the TV screen fails to turn-on/light-up.

The Sylvania (Funai Corporation brands are: Sylvania, Emerson and Symphonic) Customer Service Representative (or their boss) would not extend the warranty or try to come to any resolution.

This product DOES NOT derserve to be on the market. I refer to other cutomers who have had similiar problems.

VERY DISAPPOINTING!

Problems: Screen would not light up (turn on). The sound worked but no on-screen displays would work.

Other reveiwer said he had the Inverter Board replaced after describing a similiar problem.

Don't know the cost of the part or the labor, but I SHOULD NOT have to make a repair on a TV that is only ONE YEAR AND ONE WEEK OLD!
