My Experience: This TV is great value for the size and basic features you get. I got mine for 1k at an #$*)*%tent sale.



Problems: It doesn't achieve much beyond being cheap. Dark and very light scenes show terrible color banding (where a smooth gradient between colors, is rendered as a steps of four or five colors). This banding makes normal pictures look like cartoons. Its almost so bad that you loose the "HDness".

The menu is fairly basic, but acceptable. It has all the normal little options, but nothing really advanced.
