My Experience: I purchased this set back in July of 2004. The picture on this set is awesome. There are some issues with "blocking" similar to when a PC's video card dithers colors. It's mostly noticeable when displaying white images. Even so the picture quality is still very high contrast and vivid. After about 7 months of my purchase, I saw a bright blue horz. line appear at the bottom of the screen. This line got thicker over time to where it wound up convering the bottom 6" of the sceen. An additional 1 to 2 inches of yellow line gradually appeared on the screen's top. When I initially tried to go thru Zenith for service/repair, the factory authorized repair shop that was referred by Zenith basically told me that the problem wasn't covered under warranty and that I should "dump the set and buy another one". Research online led me to a forum where there had been many people having the same problem. An LG employee on that forum figured out that the problem was due to an overheating issue in the "light engine" in the set. This causes a lens to pop out of place. The LG employee sent me a pdf file with the repair procedure. This repair can be done by a novice if the set is out of warranty.

I was eventually able to schedule a repair, but if I had it to do over again I would steer clear of this set.

Problems: yellow and blue horz lines across the top and bottom of the screen. Slight green tint with default settings.
