My Experience: Have this tv for 16 months, it worked ok, on September just die, no picture, no display.
Problems: HP claims that this models exhibit no picture, no display. But only the serial numbers starting in the range cnh626xxxx to cnh642xxxx. The one I own serial number is cnh643xxx, therefore is out of the range, I paid $1200.00 for the tv 16 months ago, to have it fix it will cost over $895.00. On the hp's website under the specifications tab it reads ULTRA-LONG LIFE PANEL-UP TO 60,000 HOURS OF OPERATION, 60,000 hours equates to more than TWENTY-THREE YEARS at seven hours a day viewing, I only watch tv on football season, the rest of the time the tv is turned off. I purchased the tv at best buy, the sales man, told me that, this tv was the best ever at the time, and talk me into buying the most expensive gold plated component video cables and a superb surge supressor, which I did, hp and best buy refuse to have the tv repair because is not in the range, and they both claim that this tv should not have a problem, well, they both full me! THANK A LOT hp and best buy.
