My Experience: I purchased the Pavillon MD5800 HP TV a few years back with a 3 year warranty. First I had to call to replace the bulb for the picture (now HP tells me that was not a service call although I didnt have TV for a week and a tech had to come out and replace part). See after 3 service calls they need to replace the TV. I'm on my 3rd service call and have not had the TV for weeks now. Everytime they need to ship parts to me for the technician it's another week. The technicians have told me that this product needs replaced, but HP won't do it. My warranty expires in a few days and I know with pretty good certainty this TV will require more service calls in the future (not to mention it doesnt work now after tech came over). I financed this through HP and still owe a hefty amount (over $2000 plus warranty) and Im having to make payments for a product that doesnt work. I even went so far as to call service myself and asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor was less than helpful...actually not nice at all.....and the real "GOTCHA"....I work for HP. Never again will I buy an HP product nor recommend HP products to my friends. The customer service is poor (I have to say the people at the 800# were nice enough...just not their supervisor who refused to give me his name) and warranties a sham. I see now why HP stopped selling these to employees...they're worthless, expensive items. Now imagine someone who doesnt work for HP trying to get help...maybe you'll have better luck, but I wouldnt count on it.

Problems: No picture (first service call)

Picture turned orange (another service call)

Not able to fix picture (another service call after they've replaced almost everything)

No picture so now TV sits until next week when they try replacing another part.
