My Experience: This was an excellent TV for 19 months until the screen went black one evening when we turned it on. Called tech support at LG who was unhelpful.they said it was out of warranty and I didnt purchase an extended one. They said to take it to a service center and for $25 they would diagnose it. It has blown main and slave invertor boards and a blown digital board. $525. to repair. I contacted LG and pleaded with them and they took a hard line stand and said I was out of luck. I won't purchase another LG product ever. Also, they would not come up with a reason why three electronic boards would blow at once. I'm still scatching my head on this one as we had power protection before the TV plug. I requested LG search for a defect log and consider covering the unit under warranty. Customer service said I am out of luck.

Problems: TV picture failure after 19 months with little usage. Tech shop said the tv has a blown invertor main, slave and digital board.
