My Experience: 6 Lamps, 1 thermal sensor and 1 digital module in 3 years. A little excessive I think. Glad we bought the extended warranty. No more Mitsubishi'ts for me. CIRCUIT CITY where we bought this thing told us the lamp would be good for around 5yrs, so buy the extended warranty for 5yrs to replace the lamp then.HAHAHA
