My Experience: I purchased this TV back around Feb of 2004. It has been a great set up until about 3 months ago when I started to get the blinking green light of death. I always got great compliments when people came over how nice the picture was and all. I spent A LOT of $$ on this set back in the day, over $3,000 and expected it to last much longer than 5 years!! One of the reasons I got a DLP was that "you just replace the lamp and the set is back to good as new", yea, well BS!!! I have found info online about bad capacitors installed and this and that, but you know I really don't want to fool with the set!! I'm considering just getting a new set, these days they are MUCH cheaper and better quality (720p vs 1080p)

Problems: Blinking green light of death!!
