My Experience: Acceptable picture quality. Worked great for 9 months. Lamp needed replacement. Quuick start will not start the TV so We had switch to slow start.

Problems: After a year and half we had replace lamp again just 2 weeks after the warranty. Now after 2 years when turn tv on it automatically goes to channel 47(Not even programmed) Nothing works like TV is puzzsed (Guess ch47 in BayArea/SF is christianity channel ..). I spoke with service they asked to use system reset it works but next time you turn on it does a same thing. So if you are planning on purchasing Mitsubishi TV make sure purchase that extended warranty
