My Experience: out of the box this is simply plug and play. I am happy with the purchase and have not experienced any setup or operating issues. I cannot see picture quality differences between this TV and my sons 1 year old Sony 42". A great buy for the money.

Problems: had to go online to find universal remote control codes. Direct TV doesn't list Visio. I used Samsung codes.
