My Experience: purchased this for $300 off its retail price of $1100 but am disappointed in it overall. Having never had an LCD and moving to 1080p I was expecting more for the price. I took it back and will stick with my tube until I can afford a quality unit.

Problems: no 2/3 pulldown causes a lot of artifacts.
8ms response time is barely adequate
The remote uses a code not available in TIVO remotes or other universal remotes.
