My Experience: Bought three of these units at Sears in Augusta,Ga because I thought it was a great price for a 42" tv. Within a month my husband's tv just suddenly went black and never came back on. He lucked out and was able to return his to the store and get a refund. Smartly did not purchase another one. I've had mine right at right at 5 months, last night mine did the same thing. It's dead. I'm fearing the third, which my son has, is soon to follow. I will never buy another Sylvania tv or probably even any other product with the Sylvania name. If you own one of these tvs I hope you don't go through our experience. If I had only purchased one, I probably wouldn't have thought too much about it, but having two identical tvs going out within 5 months says poor workmanship with internal problems. I'm hoping Sylvania will do something about this because I'm out of $750 for my tv if they won't do something about it. I will post again later to let the comsumers know how they handled this.
